.deTuned Tunes into PSN’s Artistic Side

Today, Rusty Buchert officially introduced .deTuned to the public.  Yet another unique title coming out of Sony Santa Monica, .deTuned is a demoscene much like Linger In Shadows (and looks just as strange).  Rusty describes the demoscene created by .theprodukkt, as “abstract interactive art” in which you interact by using the SIXAXIS functionality to manipulate the scene, even music on your HDD.

Not much else is known about .deTuned at this time, but with E3 right around the corner we are sure we will be hearing more about this title.

  1. Kool.. ive always wanted a “beats” type PS3 game.. =)

  2. Linger was ok, but this looks more abstract than Linger’s sci-fi setting. I hope to see some footage soon!

  3. Ah, and now TUNE is explained.

  4. From what i’ve heard it sounds like a fancy visualizer. I hope there’s more to it than that though. I don’t see why Sony doesn’t try to get Audiosurf on the console.
