It looks like there’s been some development hitches for I Am Alive. The game tells the story of Adam Collins who attempts to survive the aftermath of a major earthquake, and was originally being developed by Darkworks. According to Ubisoft, however, it looks like this will no longer be the case.

According to Ubisoft:

“In order to respect the new launch date for this ambitious title, and Darkworks having other obligations, we have mutually decided to complete development of I Am Alive at Ubisoft Shanghai, as the two studios have collaborated on aspects of the title over the past year.

The team at Darkworks has respected its contractual obligations on the project and will be a part of the success of the game when it launches.”

We’ll keep you updated on this ambitious new title, so stay tuned on PlayStation Lifestyle.

  1. Doesn’t sound good for the game. What the heck would thier obligations be anyway that they couldn’t finish the game they’ve been working on?

  2. This could be bad… really bad. Great info. 5/5
