Batman: Arkham Asylum Delayed

Batman: Arkham Asylum has been delayed until “summer 2009″. The game, which was reportedly coming June 23rd, will now be shipping at the end of the summer.
No reason was given for the delay, although it was said that the extra time will let Rocksteady make sure the game “is of the highest quality for gamers.” PlayStation LifeStyle will have all the details as they arrive.

this game is kind of iffy for me. it looks cool and batman is a badass but im not sure about the story and the setting. does it only take place in the assylum? if so im going to pass. sucks theres a delay though.

very true the graphics looks good but I’m not sure about storyline.
Yeah I find myself in the same sitch as you guys hopefully it won’t all be in Arkham.
This is a bummer. I’m really looking forward to this game. At least it’s not pushed back until next year.
a bummer for sure but if its so they can fix issues and make a better product them i am fine with the decision
Hopefully they’ll put out a kick but demo and we can all figure out if this is good or not.
I hope it is, I like Batman.
I would bet that this is more of a strategy move because Sony does not want to “flood” the Summer buying season with games that might reduce the share of similar games that will be coming in June…
You know what would be sweet? A Batman RPG.

The story line takes place only in Arkham. Batman is trying to get out, and all the villians keep showing up and screwing things up.
From what I hear, it takes that dark look at the batman universe and voice acting sounds good.
not much has been heard on story, but cutscenes make game look promising
