I would like to make 20+k eventually.

Anyway… Programmers deserve that money. It’s so hard to memorize all the different types of coding, experiment with better codes, and most importantly troubleshoot/debug to fix bugs O_o all while keeping everything nice and balanced.

I don’t really find this that shocking. $70K+ for a programmer is about average with respect to the overall market. Just because we are in a recession doesn’t mean jobs pay less, it just means their are less employees to do the job. Tightening of belts means buying cheaper pens and stationary, not declining bonuses to employees.

damn i wish i made 79k a year
