Capcom is planning on releasing 20-40 of their classic Playstation 1 and PSP titles via the Playstation Network Store over the course of this year. The best part of all this? The community will be allowed to vote and collaborate on which titles Capcom should sell. Capcom’s Chris Kramer had this to say:
“We’ll definitely be looking at a lot of titles that have things like Street Fighter and Resident Evil in the title.
“We’re thinking about putting together a long list of the titles we’re looking at, and then releasing it on Capcom Unity and having people vote on them. Ultimately we’re looking at bringing between 20 and 40 titles to the PSN over the next several months.”
So, for the betterment of the gaming community, go to the Capcom Unity forums, and voice your opinions!
20-40 PS1 capcom games? HOLY CRAP!
Did Capcom even make that many great ones? Hmm…

Maybe some breath of fires.
I guess we’re getting a whole bunch of Street Fighter and Mega Man cause I just went through this list and couldn’t find any more PS1 titles I want ported.

Enjoy.
8 months/40 games = 1 per week approx., when does this start?
@Solid – hopefully this week.
this should be super tight. hopefully they bring some awesome psone classics.
why not any PS2 games? PS1 is to far back..being spoiled by HD graphics PS1 games are to outdated. the support is good ……but at the same time how many people will game nonstop for a PS1 game? most likely a buy and save to play later. Why not SF3? M vs C 1.
@Sneeches
everyone shares everyone else news… sometimes there’ s info here i don’t see in Kotaku and a few other sites.
At times the other sistes post there news 1-2 days late..
Sweet I’ll have to swing by Unity and check it out.
Yes! They should make a Psone section in playstation store (saw the prediction of e3 news).
This is great news, hopefully we get all those great PS1 titles we all want.
