Employee Accidentally Confirms Dead Space 2

It looks as though another game has been accidentally confirmed, this time by an employee working on the title.
A resume’ posted online has revealed Dead Space 2 is in development, stating that the employee is:
“Currently working on ‘Dante’s Inferno’, a fantasy based game and ‘Deadspace 2′, the second installment of last year’s critically acclaimed sci-fi horror game by Electronic Arts.”
Dead Space was released in 2008 to stellar reviews, praised for its unmatched horror experience and incredibly good graphics. The game has gone on to sell more then one million copies, so it’s not surprising a sequel is in the works. The staff at PSLS is pretty excited to see Dead Space 2 in action. How about you guys?

I LOVED Dead Space. One of my favorite games! I’m anxious for the next one.
I know I’m gonna get flamed for this, but I did not like Dead Space. I thought the game play and the environments were excellent, but the story and the constant forced monologues drove me crazy.
They acted like they had the greatest story ever imagined when it was just a rip-off of most sci-fi movies and then forced you to watch it all….almost like they couldn’t imagine anyone wanting to skip it. The prequel shorts and movie release seem to support this as well.
For a sequel I hope they fire the story writers, but keep everyone else.
Loved Dead Space, pumped for the sequel.
One of the many games EA released last year that were really good. People need to lay off EA, they make good games….Once in a while.
I really hope that’s true, that it’s a real Dead Space 2, and not just Extraction for the Wii. I will buy both, though, but I’d love another Dead Space on PS3.

*chuckles* j/k. We don’t flame people for opinions here; you’re more than welcome to it. I personally am not fond of games that many people go nuts over (like the Call of Duty series). Besides, I understand where you’re coming from about Dead Space’s story. I thought it was mostly throw-away myself, but loved the ambiance of the game. They freaking NAILED that. If they can build on their story elements in the sequel, Dead Space 2 will certainly be a game to keep on the radar.
DAMNIT!!! ‘another’ game i really want but can’t afford. rental it is i guess. sorry EA team that actually made a kickass game.
