King of Fighters fans will be pleased to know about the host of features being planned for the home release. King of Fighters XII will feature 22 characters with two of them being unlockable.
Ignition and SNK Playmore have gone out of their way to bring back the arcade feel of yesteryear. Players can create their own lobbies and chat smack talk to your fellow competitors. Surprisingly clans are also supported, I believe this to be a first in a fighting game.

the clan system sounds cool but is this just a psn game cause this game for $60 is a joke. i wont be wasting my time on this game anymore after this post. this game is a passssss.
hmm ill pass, there’s better fighting games out there.
Clans seem like a good way to separate casual from hardcore so you have a chance online.
I’d rather play as the guy up on the pole in the upper left and taunt people. Hiyaah!
Meh, pass… I’ll be too busy playing MvC2
Yeah bargain bin buy right here I love fighting games but this I will pass on until it’s cheaper.
Clans are cool. More info plz.
i cant wait .. this will own MvC2 because its updated…..visually
This game isn’t a bargain bin game. This game is (IMO) higher caliber than Street Fighter IV (to me a bargain bin game)
The game has 400-600 HAND DRAWN frames for each character. Each character took about 2 months to draw with a 10 man team. It could have taken a single person to draw a single character 17 months.
A lot of time, detail, etc… has been taken to make this game. This is not a game they just threw together. They redid a LOT. They’re trying out a new cancellation system where heavy attacks cancel each other out, redid move lists to make them more organic to the game, worked hard to make every character unique and fun, they did a ton to make this game.
The game simply looks beautiful, the backgrounds are so interesting (especially with the fat woman in france)
This isn’t a PSN title unless you want to call Street Fighter IV a PSN title. They’ve put in a ton of work and effort and this game is far more interesting, entertaining, and just graphically pleasing than I feel Street Fighter IV is.
