Beyond Good & Evil 2 Footage?

A video has surfaced that appears to feature Jade from Beyond Good & Evil 2. The short tease showcases what very much appears to be gameplay footage of highly anticipated sequel.

It seems sort of [shal]Mirror’s Edge[/shal]-esque, perhaps with a bit of [shal]Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune[/shal] thrown in for good measure. Yet the mostly-on-defense feeling from the original [shal]Beyond Good & Evil[/shal] seems to be intact. Fake? Real? CGI? Old? Take a peek at the video below, and make up your own mind as to whether or not this is legitimate.

    That’s DEFINITELY BG&E.

As to it being gameplay footage, or something else.. not sure!

This game has been on my top 5 “can’t wait” list though since I beat the first BG&E. Nothing changed! lol

  6. Meh… if it’s anything like Mirror’s Edge, I’ll pass. Even though this footage is in third person view, I’m still going to pass.

  7. Jeneric says:

that video was awesome. i hope this game comes soon.

  8. ZemaOner says:

How dare you compare this to Mirror’s Edge!
This is: Uncharted + Heavenly Sword + Assassin’s Creed

  9. @PaulMichealContreras:
The parkour-like, or l’art du déplacement, game play is just not my genre, i suppose. I didn’t care much for Mirror’s Edge– I know and recognize it’s an almost entirely new genre of gaming and I can appreciate it as such– but it’s just not my idea of fun… or at the very least, none have yet provided me with a better layout of controller fluidity.
