In this brief video included below, there is some new unseen footage of the upcoming Prince of Persia movie.
Not much of the plot of the movie has been revealed. But what we do know is that Jake Gyllenhaal plays the Prince, Ben Kingsley plays Nizam, and Mike Newell, best known for Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, is the director.

hopefully this isnt as awful as the newest prince of persia game.
Jake as the main actor makes me NEVER want to see this movie.
Up till about 10 – 15 years ago, films were about seeing “the greatest story ever told’, or a “story you can’t miss”, etc. Now there about seeing the latest actor in his/her latest role, with story second.
Thats why most films suck nowadays. All Mr. Newell did ws talk about how great Jake is and how he’s in great shape. Pass
@solidCake
people use to say the same thing about marlon Brando and Clark Gable. A lot of the hype for Casablanca back in the day was cause humphrey bogart and ingrid bergman were the lead roles.
I’m willing to give this movie a chance. They better not mess it up.
Rent when it comes to BR. Cmon we all no Jake G is a mediocre actor.
Imagine id Heath L was still alive and had gotten this role.
I love PoP, But this looked like a B movie to be honest, I hope I am wrong.
Most Games that are made into movies suck and most movies that are made into games suck.
@GunaK
True, I just downloaded the Wolverine demo, it was pretty fun I must say. All I mainly did was leap around tho..
@nikrel
this wolverine game is cutting the movie. haha pun. but anyway i saw the movie last week and i just went and bought the game and i am enjoying the game much more than i enjoyed the movie. not that i didnt enjoy the movie, i thought it was good and filled with action but this game is awesome and i cant get enough of it. the story in movie is a little better but the mature rating on the game makes up for it. sorry to go off topic but this game is definitely braking down that stereotype that movie to game = suck and game to movie = suck.

Awesome man, Thanks for the heads up. I might go buy it too, demo was very fun.
