Polyphony Digital has just released the worldwide retail numbers for their phenomenal racer, Gran Turismo 5: Prologue.
The worldwide retail sales figures stand at 3.3 million units. This is incredible considering that GT5: Prologue is a standalone demo for the upcoming Gran Turismo 5. However, that tally does not include digital copies sold through the Playstation Store, which should account for a good chunk of the overall sales.

never liked this game at all, infact i hate racing games. Either way its good to see the large sales…but Im honestly not surprised. Wait till the full version comes out, then you’ll see some major sales.
I am not a Huge racer Fan, but GT5 convince me.
Now its a 1. day Purchase for me.
the only thing i need is a release Date.
So Polphony Digital announce it at E3

God I spent countless hours on prologue gettin that GT500 special edition, the online though needs more polish.
Thats a lot for a “demo”.
WOW! It’s not even a full game. That’s impressive to say the least.
