Amazon.com has just issued a price cut on the 80GB and 160GB PS3 models.
The 80GB PS3 is now available for $389, and the 160GB PS3 Bundle is available for $479. It’s a small cut, but should help if you’re still aching to buy one.

Humm… Sounds like a way to clear out some stock to make way for new models? Or not. Interesting.

True, but I doubt a $20 price cut is going to make anyone run and buy a PS3. Even when the PS3 drops to $300, people are STILL going to complain that it’s ‘too much’ or ‘I’m going to wait until it’s $250′ crap.

@ Thomas Williams
thats a very realistic view point. people will still complain probably wont stop untill there the cheapest system to buy over the wii and 360.

The people who complain the most will most likely complain regardless of how much people try to please them.
Offer them a PS3 for free and they will bitch about having to buy an extra controller.

I rather wait till after E3 to pick up a spare! Might be $50 – $100 cheaper!
