GameStop is offering Playstation 3 owners who are interested in used games a sweet deal.
Valid now until May 21st, the following coupon will give Playstation 3 owners 20% off used PS3 games. Great, right? Well, the only downside is the coupon will work only for up to 3 games.

No, it’s 20% off any used games. The limit per coupon is 3 games.

I can’t say this is a bad deal, actually, if you’re looking at games from a year ago with a price tag of $35 or less. They sell their used games for like $50 or $55, which is itself an enormous rip-off, so the only games that will actually be worth using this coupon on are the older games, but that’s fine if you’re looking for one of those.

sweet. im sure i can find a couple used games to pick up. also all the codes for each email are the same so you could print it out multiple times and take it to multiple gamestops, thus making it unlimited.

OK so, Gamestop buys back games at a price determined by the market on each game, sells used games at great prices, and then offers sales on those same reduced priced games…
how are they “ripping off there Customers”?
Their prices are the same as any place else for new games, they sell titles that wal-mart wont because of rating, and their used products are in great working condition … not to mention they will replace anything they sell that is defective.
If that is bad, I have severely over-estimated the devastation of rape.
