yes and No. because there are a few that aren’t fan boys they actually have good reasons with examples to back them up. in this scenario it was DLC, Patches, updates etc ALL which add to the game. in the end of the day.. i make the call. i did my own research which wasn’t hard.. everywhere i went 360 getting this update, this DLC, this fix and the PS3 got nothing. im aware its got role playing elements but it plays like a FPS (due to the shooting elements). i don’t think it was blown out of proportion they just flat out didn’t support the PS3 with fixes and add ons that it became noticeable. while there were rapid fan boys the facts were there… they didnt support the PS3 version.

@morgus – all the dlc they released on xblive had bugs lol they had to pull everyone of them!!!! lol, so it should hit the PSN with zero issues…lets keep our fingers crossed anyways.

well it’s about time. finally i can move beyond lvl 20. i love Fallout 3 and will totally be getting all of the DLC. glad Bethesda finally decided to support the PS3. this news makes me very happy.

I can completely understand, if that is YOUR stance on it, but I have to ask, you do know that a large amount of those people saying they don’t support PS3 are fanboys, right? The whole thing was blown wildly out of proportion. And I definitely wouldn’t call it an FPS. Yea there’s a lot of shooting and the [optional] view is first person, but it’s really not that kind of game. I’m not going to try to act like I know you and your preferences, but there are some seriously rabid fanboys this generation, the worst I can remember since Nintendo vs Sega days, so I would advise you to take what a lot of these people say with a grain of salt, unless you trust their word.

actually, i didn’t because many people said they were not supporting the PS3 in terms of patches, DLC etc. it has nothing to do about loyalty to SONY its because i choose not to. id did investigate before making the decision.. why get a game that has alot of bugs and constantly getting neglected? you cant be certain it will be supported later on. Im not a FPS fan to begin with, so biting a bullet on a game format that isnt high rated in my book. i lose nothing. Now there are a ton of games that id rather buy even before debating this one. Same scenario when this game came out there were others i wanted.

just so you know, there are MANY other gamers that did the same, so technically im not a rarity. If anyone says “your missing out on a great game” not really. especially since i never played the original.. which weren’t even the same. In the end, if a company cant support there product but supports another there not worth my money. which is probably one of the reasons there coming around now. You know? word of mouth of not having support towards the PS3 version.

I totally wrote the game off because of the lack of support. I suppose I will be picking up the game in October if the end of the year catalog gets weak. I loved oblivion.

I somewhat feel its a little late for this DLC update. At this point, my interest in Fallout 3 has faded, and I think my money would be better spent on something new than on this DLC.

Great game – great news – delay sucks, but great nonetheless. I’ll be buying all DLC and keeping my original copy.

its been sitting on my shelf since i platinumed it, thank you bethesda.
Lets just hope they iron out the bugs before it hits the PSN.

I heard about this this morning and I must say that it surprised me very much. I’m glad that I didn’t trade in Fallout 3 after all now. Bethesda may not suck after all lol. Better late than never I suppose.
