Swine Flu Scares Square Enix and Koei Out of E3

According to reports, Square Enix and Koei will not be attending this year’s E3 convention. Why? Well, it’s due to swine flu fears. The development team for Kingdom Hearts has been confirmed as not attending this year’s show; a number of Koei employees are avoiding the show as well. Strange, considering recent reports which indicate that Swine Flu is in Japan, and on the rise.
Sony, on the other hand, will be attending this year’s E3 with no employees or development teams missing out on the fun. So no worries there, as you’ll still be able to see what Sony has in store for us.

This is serious xD Both these companies will not be attending E3 this year.
This was shaping up to be the biggest E3 in years, and I firmly believe it still will be, but some well known companies have backed out. What the hell is going on at Square these days??! It seems like every few days now, some new news comes up that isn’t very good. Not showing up at all can’t be good for them, though maybe it isn’t too surprising after hearing about their profit margin recently. But I mean damn, we all this happening at once, this could very well be a turning point for them, and they won’t even be at the event. Whatever. Maybe they’re just getting what they deserve. Karma is a bitch.
Ugh.. Bad news.
This is just their excuse for not being at E3
Stop worrying people, the games etc will still be shown off.

These cultures take there personal health and that of others seriously and if the Flu outbreak in Japan risks them spreading it either inside or outside the country then they will take measures to make sure that it is contained … It may not be because it is here since our outbreak is centered more in the Eastern state of New York…
