Demon’s Souls, the exclusive Action-RPG PS3 title, has been confirmed for a North American release.

You can expect Demon’s Souls this Fall 2009, and it will be published by Atlus. According to critics, Demon’s Souls is one of the hardest games around. Definitely not for the casual gamer, and definitely for the hardcore.

More information on Demon’s Souls will be posted as it hits.

why does it take so long to come to the US? my friend imported a copy from Korea on its initial release day and i watched him play, it has a FULL ENGLISH dialog option, including captions, if you want to keep it in a different language but written in English. i will never understand why a game that is completed and translated would take so long for the US version?you think that games like these that are typically more AMERICAN (theme wise) would be a bigger priority in the US/UK than most jrpg’s.

if they have it in english dialog already then you are right… i dont know why it would take so long. im sure there are reasons though. maybe voice acting and marketing or something like that. but at least its coming.

  3. Yeah, ShadowJin, it’s frustrating sometimes. Yakuza 3, for instance, is one of those games that I’d buy if it were available here. I’d buy it even if the audio is Japanese with English captions.

    Thanks for the update, Dan.
