The instrument studio that originally greeted visitors on the [shal]Beatles: Rock Band[/shal] site has been replaced with something more nostalgic.

[shal]Harmonix[/shal] has made a lovely reproduction of the set used by the Ed Sullivan show when they debuted the Beatles in America on February 9, 1964. No official word yet on whether this set will be available to play in the [shal]Rock Band[/shal] title, but it’d be ridiculous if it wasn’t included. You can check out the official site here.

The Beatles: Rock Band is scheduled for a 9/9/09 release, so stay tuned on PSLS for more updates on this title.

They’ll charge you separately– I’ll bet $100 they charge extra one way or another. On the lighter side, I’ve seen that Ed Sullivan video segment before and I’ve gotta admit that they did a good job recreating the stage set.

I really don’t want it either.

9/9/09 is there any significance there?
