Some new supposed scans of the upcoming Heavy Rain have begun to make their way across the Internet, and look absolutely stunning. There are a number of face renderings which look as close to real life as you can possibly hope to get these days.
The face renders, if actually done in-game, have moved past the uncanny valley and straight to virtual reality status. Of course it’ll still be interesting to see these things in motion, and even more exhilirating to perhaps play as some of these characters. We now know that this game will have multiple stories, each no doubt intertwined with the other…But which ones we get to directly control has not been revealed yet. Take a look at more renders and some artwork in the gallery below!

Graphics look amazing if this is what the final product would look like!
wow….can’t wait to see what the finished product is going to be.
i know it looks good!
the footage on Spike last night was sort of a letdown. The older footage with the girl and the taxidermist chasing her looked better. The guy sort of reminds me of Fox Mulder.
now if only i could find pictures to undrop my jaw lol
usally i don’t get excited over graphics or animations but…….damn
I saw some video of the game in action and I was very disappointed. Didn’t look or move any better than Shenmue.
My hope is that the footage they were showing was without all the shaders and lighting effects turned on as the characters looked very washed out and generic looking. Compared to the screens here it doesn’t even look like the same game. Hopefully we’ll see more and better footage next week at E3.
wow those look amazing. Can’t wait for the game.
That is what I am hoping for a great game exclusive to the PS3 that we can all enjoy.
I doubt those are in-game. The second picture in the first column looks too good to be a video game. If that IS real, then I wonder how Quantic Dreams traveled to the future.

I’ve said it before about this game and I’ll say it again… Truly amazing. I just hope it’s not over-hype.
