For their last fiscal quarter, GameStop is reporting record profits, for their Q1 ending May 2nd. What games contributed to their success?
Interestingly enough, GameStop cites the strong sales of Street Fighter IV and Resident Evil 5. Overall, GameStop’s total sales figures rose 9.2% to $1.98 billion, and total net earnings increased 13.4% to $70 million. Not all is good, however, as sales of new games dropped 2.8%. Likewise, used games sales surged 31.9%.

Resident Evil 5 was good.
Records, nice one!
Anyhow, screw GameStop. It’s easy to get those number when you buy out 80% or more of the competition.
I know my gamestop said they had record sales for UFC the video game.
