Square Enix has finally revealed their next game, and thankfully it’s not an RPG.
The game, called Nier, will “fall in the line with the combo-chain attack feel of Ninja Gaiden or Devil May Cry”, and features a currently unknown character looking for a cure for his ailing daughter.

Nier certainly sounds different than what Square Enix typically offers us. We at PlayStation LifeStyle can’t wait to see more of this mysterious title. Nier is currently slated for a 2010 release, on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Uhh… 2010? They must have found this old story tucked under grandma’s photo albums from the ’50′s… it looks like a picture of an old deep-sea diver, head gear and all. I don’t really like whole button mashing aspect but the rest is pretty odd.
