Capcom Proud of Resident Evil 5 Sales Performance

[shal]Capcom[/shal] CFO Kazuhiko Abe revealed at the Reuters Global Technology Summit that [shal]Resident Evil 5[/shal] has shifted five million copies worldwide. Sales for April totaled 570,000 units, which added onto the prior figure of 4.4 million copies sold. Abe also commented on the company strategy of growth overseas:

“We aim to achieve 10 percent growth in sales and hit an operating margin of 15 percent each year. But acquisitions are not how we are going to do that, at least for now. We plan to strengthen our own business first, and only after completing that process, we will think about things like acquisitions.”

    Good for them, but I’m not proud of Resident Action Shooter, so I didn’t contribute to those sales.
