Is the discontinued [shal]PSP[/shal] Extended Life Battery Kit brought back from the grave? It appears to have made a comeback according to a new listing of the battery on the SonyStyle website. Listing compatibility for the [shal]PSP-3000[/shal], the revival of the battery was probably attributed to the lower battery capacity of the PSP-3000 in comparison to the PSP-2000.
Although listed as “backordered” on the SonyStyle website, hopefully this is a sign that the Extended Battery Kit is back for good.

That is kinda weak for an extended life battery. I work for a battery company and would be interested in knowing what Amps per hour the PSP-3000 really requires during gameplay and video playback.
