In the latest episode of GameTrailers TV, Geoff Keighley reported that that the interactive film noir PS3 exclusive, Heavy Rain, will be hitting “next year”. Whether he misspoke is not known, but considering the amazing amount of technology and effort put into this game, 2010 may not be a big stretch.
You can watch Keighley say this at about the 19:30 mark. It had been thought that Heavy Rain was to be included in the 2009 release window, but this seems to indicate otherwise.
Stay tuned to PlayStation LifeStyle for more on this.

cant wait for this game
I bet it’s a year away, or something close to that.
@Sneeches
do you actually read the post? lol
the game looks extremely well done and worth the wait. that was some great footage.
@shadowjin – no, I hate reading!!! And the title tells all. But yah I know its a ways off, doesn’t mean I can’t wait and hope for it this year lol.
So that’s Heavy Rain, Quantum Theory, God of War III, The Agency, DC Universe, Gran Turismo 5, and something else that fell off the 2009 map. It’s 2008 all over again. I don’t think it will ever be “The year of PS3.”
We will just have to wait and see then won’t we?
it had to have been a mistake because the company themselves said its being released in 2009. promise
and the only mmo without a 09 due date is dc universe. the agency and free realms will drop this year. i seen the creator of the agency say it. oh and free realms on pc is at 2 million signed on and registered in less than a month!!!! it is our year!!!! and our numbers are now at 23 million and growin.
It stinks that we’ll probably have to wait a while longer but I think it will be well worth that wait. 2010 isn’t too far off but hopefully the game’s launch will be EARLY 2010– like January or February.
hmmm.
