Final Fantasy XI Coming to PS3

Final Fantasy XI, also known as Final Fantasy XI Online, is coming to PlayStation 3. The game, which was released for PS2 in 2004 and Xbox 360 in 2006, was revealed on the cover of the latest Dengeki PlayStation magazine.
Final Fantasy XI is a massive online multiplayer title, and was the first title in history to have over 2 million active members. As of 2008, Final Fantasy XI has over 500, 000 subscribers. The game’s latest release was for Xbox 360, on April 18th 2006.

im wondering if they’re still going to charge a p2p fee or if it will be a microtrans. What was it on xbox?

SE just trying to get more money.. its also odd they never announced it on the 360. seams like all there attentions been there this GEN and we get nothing but old titles.

Hmm… I have read the similar news on VGChartz.com, but have yet to see actual source i.e. Dengeki Playstation Magazine scan. The Japanese Dengeki Online site has not mentioned about this yet, which sometimes can happen as they want to sell their magazine, they tends to wait a few days before posting hot topics on their site.
But the scan you have on this page (front cover of dengeki playstation) does not talk anything about FFXI. (At least the picture you have on this page).
Does anyone know actual scan or source talk about this?

I only play it if it’s not a monthly charge, which it probably will be since it is on every other platform.
