Final Fantasy Classic Coming to PlayStation Store

Just one day after six PSOne classics are revealed via the ESRB, the ratings company has shown off another PSOne classic … and this one’s a doozy.
Final Fantasy VII has officially been rated by the ESRB, for both PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable. Sony Computer Entertainment America is again publishing the title, though the release date is unknown as of this time.
But, with E3 right around the corner, and Advent Children Complete coming June 2nd, it’s possible that we could see it within the next few weeks. Leave your comments below, and show your excitement for the stateside release of Final Fantasy VII!

This is cool, but I’d rather have Xenogears. I’ve beaten FF7 about 5 times and have no need to do it again.
I would rather have a remake… It’s just too hard for me to go back to that lego RPG

I will be buying this for my PSP the day it becomes available. Going to be great having FF7 to go to play again for the first time in a while.

A remake would be so much better for the hardcore fans, but think about the production costs. There would be no guarantee they would make their money back. Bummer…

Lord Zenaku… How many sales did they get off of the FF XIII games?
Besides isn’t FF VII one of the larger fanbases around?
I doubt the fanbase is so small that they couldn’t make a lot of profits.
I will buy this for sure. I would love to be able to play this on my new PSPS GO when I get it later this year.

(I like having these on PS3 hard drive as my PS1 collection is packed away in storage)
