Crysis Sequel Coming to Consoles
Crytek and EA have just announced Crysis 2. The sequel to one of the best looking games will be releasing simultaneously on PlayStation 3, PC, and Xbox 360.
There was no media shown and no details given other than the game using the new CryEngine 3. “The development of Crysis 2 marks a major stepping stone for our studio,” said Cevat Yerli, Crytek CEO, “this is not only the next game in the Crysis franchise, it’s the first title we are developing for consoles and the first title being built on CryENGINE 3.” You can expect more info during the EA press conference this afternoon at 1:45 PST.
I don’t know about the rest of you but I was hoping for the first Crysis or Warhead to come to PS3. As always stay here on PlayStation LifeStyle for our live-blogging of E3 and the latest news on your favorite console.

Let’s hope they use the PS3 to develop the game, then port it to X-Box…
lol the 360 version i have a fealing is gonna suck.
its a shame really cuz their not going to use blu ray to their potential with it being multi plat. Either way that’s damn good news and I’ll for sure check it out.

Exactly they won’t be maxing out the PS3 hardware so why bother with this but, I will keep an eye on it as it makes progress.
