Gran Turismo PSP Announced

Gran Turismo for the PSP has been officially announced, at Sony’s E3 press conference. The title will have 8000 cars, 35 tracks, with 60 different layouts of those tracks. Polyphony Digital promises the game will run at a rock solid 60 frames per second.  They also promise that Gran Turismo PSP is :

“[A] Full-size Gran Turismo experience; this is not a shrunken-down subset of the Gran Tursmo series”

    I’ll believe it when it’s released. Gran Turismo series is raw, but it’s always something that makes the titles delay for way to long!

    do you mean 800 or 8000 cars? this is going to be graphically outstanding. the ps3 version of gran turismo looked unbelievable.

    800. I distinctly remember them saying it would be 800 cars, 35 tracks, and 60 variations of those tracks. 8,000 would be amazing, but I’ll be perfectly content with 800.

    Also, it was pretty impressive to hear this news- that it’s a full size version of the PS3’s, just on the PSP.
