So it looks like the PlayStation Store received a face lift over night, just in time for Sony’s big E3 press conference.
The store should be updating later today with Final Fantasy VII and multiple videos from the conference. The store’s icons are now more squared and the overall color of the store is a much darker blue. The sound that the store makes whenever you make a selection has changed, as well as the username and icon have been moved to the bottom right. The only feature that seems to be missing is the much requested search function. As more and more content is release onto the PlayStation Store the search function is needed more than ever. I have included a picture below; you may compare it to the header image at the top of the article.
As always, stay here on PlayStation LifeStyle for all the latest news on your favorite console.
i noticed this when i was looking for ffvii. i like the new sound
it’s cool , but needs some background pictures to make it look SEXIER
Ooh looks very nice.
Looks very good.
i like the new sounds, reminds me of cellphones
i like the glowing effect it has when somethings highlighted.
I’m glad they can change the store remotely without requiring an update every time.
Also, didn’t Europe just receive the search function recently? I’m sure we’ll receive it as well, soon enough.
i noticed the sound change but not the look. PSLS’s home page still looks way cooler. (yes, that might be some brown you see on my nose.) lol
Noticed that as well, nice little change.
Nice facelift for sure but doesn’t excuse their huge delays in updating the store. That’s one of the biggest things I hate about Sony.
Yea well who knows what time zone they are in LOL They seem to like to wait until the end of their working day to release the content. Very odd of them.
i like the change a lot.. looks very slick and the sound is good
I like it except for the double tone whenever you select ANYTHING!
Other than that, it ‘s good.
