Sony Promises Mega PS1 Classic Support

During Sony’s E3 press conference, they confirmed that 50 PS1 classics will be released on the PSN Storewithin the near future. Among the notables, the long awaited Final Fantasy VII will be released, today.

    My guess is:
    1. they wanna milk PS1 first for all it’s worth THEN move on to the PS2 catalog.
    2. Most PS1, if not all, PS1 games were on CD, smaller file size for uploading/downloading.
