Metal Gear Shoes – Yes Please!
What do we have here?
You never know what you may find while at E3. New controllers, absurd accessories, funky chairs and blow-up oddities are just a small sample of the things you may see here. Oh, and did I mention amazing art/footwear with a Metal Gear twist?
Jacob Patterson, pictured above, is a local artist/student. He is currently going to UCLA and does custom clothing and, obviously, shoes. I first had the pleasure to meet him at the PS.Blog meetup last Sunday, and met with him today. As luck may have it he had these beautiful shoes with him. He is apparently going to talk with Kojima and team to discuss the possibility of mass-producing these shoes via the Puma brand. So if things go well expect to be able to buy these at a store near you sometime in the future! As always, if anything concrete develops on this story you can see it here first!

Those are actually pretty cool. I don’t know if I’d wear them, though. I’d just put them on display somewhere for people to look at.
