Kojima has confirmed that Metal Gear Solid will be making its arcade debut. The game will run in full 3D requiring the user to wear 3D goggles. The arcade version of Metal Gear Solid will be directed by non-other than Kojima himself. This should be hitting arcades in 2010.
Only one question remains, will this arcade version ever come to the US? With the arcade business going downhill every year it is hard to say at this point. Stay here on PlayStation LifeStyle for all the latest news out of E3.

WOW! I can’t even think of an arcade near me that’s still open. There used to be a dozen or so in my area, but that was about 10-15 years ago! This is definitely tailored towards the Japan-based market, I bet.
