Vidzone Gets a Solid Release Date

We have finally been notified of a solid date for when Vidzone, the free video service for the PlayStation 3, will be released.
The magic date is June 11th. The application will come the form of a download off the PSN store, not in a firmware. However, only Europeans and Australians will be feeling the love. All other regions will not receive the service.

well, this will kind of make up for no video store anywhere but the US…

Im pretty sure that this will be similar to the US video store, even if you try downloading it in your EU account it wont allow you and it will scan your IP adress to confirm your real location.
Hopefully, this is PAL exclusive, if americans get there hands on this by account hopping, i would seriously considering moving to xbox360. – where things are a little more interesting and everything 4 everyone.
Excluding netflix.

Yeah, MGS: Rising is coming to X360, but Kojima isn’t directing it. So yeah, it’s Metal Gear… but is it really without Kojima?
@Sneeches – It’s not only canada whos been shafted with the video store. Europe has still to get it aswell as everywhere else in the world! Correct me if i’m wrong

To be honest, your logic makes no sense. You will get a 360 if Americans get the service, not even video game related? So you judge your whole console playing on what some people do? Shouldnt you play the ps3 mostly for the games, etc…. Come on…. Such a ridiculous arguement.

Well, well, well… our European accounts should be able to partake in this, I’m expecting.
Date confirmation + FREE service = 5 outta 5.
Wait is this Euro exclusive, if it is thats kind of cool because we still haven’t got the damn video store, so it will be nice if we’ve got something that America hasn’t
