PlayStation Home users have been asking for ways to share media in Home. The first stage is here today. Home users will be able to purchase picture frames and place any picture off of their HDD or select from a gallery of default pictures.
Of course the pictures will probably be moderated, so don’t go uploading naked ladies to hang up in your apartment. This is just the begining of what Sony has planned for user-generated content to come to Home. We look forward to seeing all of the pictures that everyone puts up. See you at Home.
Stay tuned on PlayStation LifeStyle for all the latest news on your favorite console.

Yes! Finally. I have been waiting ages for these. The next step is HDTV’s that stream movies and videos from your HDD and stereo/home theater systems for our listening needs.

i wonder if when you buy the picture frame it comes with a picture of a tree like real picture frames.

If you can duplicate the frame then coo. Also what if the nakedness is tastefully done.:)

I purchased the picture frame and it still needs some work. When pics are placed that are not the default photos they have a yellowish tint to them. I placed a GT5 Prolugue wallpaper in the picture frame and it had that yellowish tint, it was supposed to be the blue Nissan 240sx but it looked like a washed out green, not what PD put on my HDD.
But I am sure that these things will be fixed eventually.

there is also a limit to the amount of pictures frames, harbor apt is 2, the one with the tree is 12, etc.
I don’t know the reason. And you can’t have them in clubhouses. I would guess they get around the lisencing issues by limiting to personal space. just a guess

every time i try to pick a photo from my HDD it freezes up my PS3. hopefully they fix it soon, otherwise i just wasted $2.99.

3.00 bucks for a picture frame and no tastefully done naked bombshells , no thanks, I’m not a perve I just want to be able to be a perve if I want to.

Well they took their sweet time… a $3 is overinflated and WAAAAYY too expensive for a digital item which very few people will ever see (I mostly spend my time in Home at the pool tables or playing cards). It’s a great addition to Home, but GOD DAMN- they’re overcharging us for not only this but most other items as well.
