The final piece of the [shal]Konami Conference[/shal] at E3 2009 was the developer presentation for [shal]Silent Hill: Shattered Memories[/shal].
The game is currently in development for the [shal]PSP[/shal], [shal]PS2[/shal], and Nintendo [shal]Wii[/shal]. The game is a remake re-imagining of the original PS1 title, and places a large emphasis on unpredictability. Most of what happens during gameplay is completely dynamic, with very little scripting done by the developers. Check out the presentation video below, and make sure to enjoy it in HD!

screw the Wiimote! how’s this gonna work on the PS2 (via PS3)? i’m very intrigued since i love this series. i haven’t played Homecoming yet ’cause i’ve heard bad things about it, and my girlfriend has a PSP (which i guess she really bought for me) but i haven’t played Origens yet either. they really need to make a shocking, gory, horrific, amusingly odd/strange (in the spirit of the old school games but with better graphics and controls) Silent Hill game for this generation. i liked Resident Evil until i played Silent Hill. now Resident Evil seems too campy and cartoony and the controls still suck ass. they say the next Resident Evil will be totally different, but i’m not holding my breath. as long as they allow you to walk while aiming, i’m sure i’ll give it a chance. BTW IMHO, the first Resident Evil movie pwned the Silent hill movie. not that it matters ’cause i didn’t have a controller in my hand. nuff said. (no, i’m not really sober.)

thats what i thought.
I’m actually looking forward to this, even though i’m a total bitch when it comes to scary games. I freak out allll the time. It’s…uh…. It’s kinda emasculating. But hell, it’s entertaining.

The Wii version seems to be best since it takes advantage of the Wiimote and looks good but as I no longer have a Wii(brother sold it) I have to get the PS2 version. Wish Konami would of shown the PS2 version since I wonder how its gonna work if its being made by a different team. Really want the original Silent Hill on PSN so I can play it before Shattered Memories comes out.
