Adding to the latest onslaught of PlayStation Home content, Namco is bringing the Namco Museum from the Asian region over to the North America this July.

The downloadable application, soon to be available on the PlayStation Store, will contain classic Namco titles like Pac-man, Dig Dug, Xevious, a Xevious remake, Galaga, and Dragon Spirit. The application will reward players with PlayStation Home unlockables to either put on their avatars or in their apartment.

For players that want to try out Namco Museum Essentials, there will be a brand-new Home space with virtual arcades so that players can try out the games before downloading the full titles. On top of this, the space will also unlock new items for the player, so it’s a win-win situation for anyone in Home to check it out this July.

Now this sounds like a good use of the Arcade technology from the Bowling Alley. To actually play classics in Home sounds pretty neat. I have tried the demo from the Asian store and it’s pretty cool. I look forward to this one.
