Dualshock 3 to Get Colorful This October

According to an official press release Sony, come this fall, Dualshock 3 is going to get more colorful. Unlike the Satin Silver Dualshock 3 that is exclusive to Gamestop until the end of September, these two new colors will be available across all retailers when they launch.
The new colors, “Deep Red” and “Metallic Blue” will be joining “Ceramic White”, “Satin Silver”, and “Piano Black”.
We will have an update as soon as a firm release date has been announced. Stay tuned.

Heh, I am always around. Was just swamped, working on the back end of the site, as well as talking with some developers/publishers/advertisers, etc.

Damnit. I finally (2 days ago) get a Dualshock 3 (already had 3 Sixaxis) and they announce a white one. Damnit.
Damnit!
Oh well I suppose I’ll have 5 controllers.

I have a white Dualshock 3, imported from Play-Asia.com way before the DS3 was available in the States…Paid about the same price too!

you know they already had the white one. it came out in japan but you could still get it from like Amazon, Ebay, and other websites.
I like the red one but i think i still like white more. But good idea Sony way to keep ideas fresh. Maybe they start coming out with custom design controllers. I wouldn’t mind using a LBP designed controller.

Sweet but I still like the white one , I would buy the red one though , my L2 , R2 buttons are starting to stick when I play lately.

Cool, will be really handy for parties where there are lots of different people’s contollers, plus my two controllers have sticky sticks.

I do like that Sony is coming out with some variety with their colors. The red looks sweet. The metallic blue? Not so much. Just my 2 cents.
