According to an official press release Sony, come this fall, Dualshock 3 is going to get more colorful. Unlike the Satin Silver Dualshock 3 that is exclusive to Gamestop until the end of September, these two new colors will be available across all retailers when they launch.
The new colors, “Deep Red” and “Metallic Blue” will be joining “Ceramic White”, “Satin Silver”, and “Piano Black”.
We will have an update as soon as a firm release date has been announced. Stay tuned.
Anthony were the hell have you been? lol
with all the insane Revelations today i was wondering Wheres Anthony?
Damnit. I finally (2 days ago) get a Dualshock 3 (already had 3 Sixaxis) and they announce a white one. Damnit.
Damnit!
Oh well I suppose I’ll have 5 controllers.
@BlingOnMyWrist
you know they already had the white one. it came out in japan but you could still get it from like Amazon, Ebay, and other websites.
I like the red one but i think i still like white more. But good idea Sony way to keep ideas fresh. Maybe they start coming out with custom design controllers. I wouldn’t mind using a LBP designed controller.
I think I’d buy a red one. Red+Black = pretty cool
Yeah I’m definitely going to get a couple red ones. My current ones are already starting to get that “slick” used feeling.
Could we possibly be seeing these controllers bundled with two coloured PS3 slims?
You never know …

Well, I don’t have any credit cards, and I’m always having trouble keeping enough money in my PayPal to afford one. But there’s always enough in my pocket so….
Sweet but I still like the white one , I would buy the red one though , my L2 , R2 buttons are starting to stick when I play lately.
Red + Black = Badass.
ugly colors
red is nice, but blue controller looks like its covered in taffy.
Cool, will be really handy for parties where there are lots of different people’s contollers, plus my two controllers have sticky sticks.
I do like that Sony is coming out with some variety with their colors. The red looks sweet. The metallic blue? Not so much. Just my 2 cents.
