In an intelligent move to offset the costs of game development, [shal]Quantic Dream[/shal], the team behind the acclaimed [shal]PS3[/shal] exclusive [shal]Heavy Rain[/shal], will be putting their game content up for sale.

Heavy Rain required the [shal]digital scanning[/shal] of over 300 individuals, and required an extensive amount of motion capture work to bring the game world to life. Thus, Quantic Dream is selling library packages containing the motion capture data that the team has worked so hard on. Quantic refers to it as “the industry’s first high-end, off-the-shelf solution for real-time 3D character animation.”
