A recent job listing has confirmed that Media Molecule is working on their next PS3 title.
The developer of LittleBigPlanet posted the listing on June 5th, 2009, and is asking for a programmer for a “ground-breaking, AAA, PS3 title for Sony Computer Entertainment”.
What is interesting is that it’s possible this game may be LittleBigPlanet 2, as certain requirements for this needed programmer include “experience writing and maintaining physics code” and requires the prospective employee to have “shipped a console game with an online component”.

They should call it “Big Little Universe” instead of Little Big Planet 2.

Cool although I don’t know any single person who ever shipped a game with an online component

Haha, save “Universe” for the fourth installment. First, they need to do “Solar System” and then “Galaxy.”

i dont think its LBP 2. Think about it what would be different. If it was new maps they could just add it as an DLC and it would be the same. I just dont see how you can make sequels of Create, Play, Share genre and be successful.

True….”ground breaking” wouldn’t necesarily apply for a LBP sequel…

I think it has something to do with the motion controller

Let’s hope it’s not another sequel, and something just as big as LBP was

Anything from MM is great! I hope it’s not LBP2 but something completely new. I also hope that it’s in the Play, Create, Share genre.

might just be working with existing LBP assets, doesn’t mention new anywhere.

NO SEQUEL!
Something brand new and innovative, like LBP was on its release.
Please.
