GameStop’s website indicates that they have snagged an exclusive preorder deal for the highly anticipated adventure game, Assassin’s Creed 2.

Available for both in-store orders and online, the preorder code will unlock the above location, “Palazzo Medici”, an otherwise locked portion of the game. The codes will be given either in-store, or by email, at the time of release.

Assassin’s Creed 2 is set to release on November 17th.

I can live with paying for DLC that would have been an in-game unlockable last gen. I can even live with paying for DLC that just unlocks content that is already on the disc. What I hate most of all though is DLC that is exclusive to a certain retailer. I do not want to give GameStop any money, and at the same time, I will just because I also want a full game.
