Uncharted Swings Onto the Big Screen

Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune is getting set for the silver screen.
Columbia Pictures will be picking up the movie, and will be adapting the highly-praised video game onto the big screen. Kyle Ward, who was recently confirmed to be the writer of Hitman 2, will pen the movie. It will be produced by Avi Arad, Charles Roven, Ari Arad and Alex Gartner.

Why not employ the voice actors in their respective roles? You won’t get anyone who looks exactly like the characters, so you may as well get people who sound like them!
Can’t wait for this to come out – I knew they would make a film for it someday.

Lets have the chance to make a great movie… we need to hire a writer… well crap can’t spend a ton of money there, got to save that for cool explosions! Go hire that guy who’s writing hitman 2 i bet he’s cheap!

Just use the damn game, or it’s going to end up with Drake going in search of the holy grail in Afghanistan, only to be confronted by the taliban and taken to space.
Seriously, film adaptations of games tend to go this way…

Unless the voice actors from the game play the characters, it’s gonna suck.
i really think the guy from firefly would be a good choice for nathan drake.. but i would much rather see the voice actors in the role.
I would love to see the voice actors play there respective roles.
After I beat the game I was like, “If they make a movie of Uncharted, they should get the guy who plays Malcolm in the Firefly series (Nathan Fillion)”. w00t, similar voice, same personality. I think it’d be a good fit
