After a grand showing at the E3 2009 Expo, Tecmo Koei is ready to release impressive new screenshots of their PS3 title, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2. And from the looks of it, the team is ready to bring out the big guns. Check out the screens below, and let us know what you think!
What do I think?
I think I want this game.
I think this is exactly what I told people on VGEVO when they said that PS3 didn’t have Ninja Gaiden 2 and was never getting it.
I said 2 things.
1. Eventually we probably will
2. If we do get it later it’ll be way better.
This is why I don’t own a 360. Good things come to those who wait.
@MakaiOokami,
What’s sad is that it applies to a lot of the 360′s lineup. It either shows up on the PC or PS3 later on, and improved. =/
@John Draisey
….and you will be ABLE to play it without your system dying. I need more than one hand to count how many times my 360 has had the dreaded RRoD (everyone I know who owns one has had it die many times as well….in my circles the death rate is 100%).
There is nothing worse than buying a new game and dreading it killing your system. Perfect Dark was the first “killer”-app for me. GTAIV for a friend and another friend who use to laugh at our failure rates had his die when Rockband came out (and numerous times after).
The PS3 use to be a joke to me, but now it is a relief. I can buy a new game and my system will work when I need it to. IMHO Sony wins this gen for the best quality, software and service.
@Robotron,
My girl knows someone who’s had 6 dead 360s…and is intent on getting a new one. I understanding replacing your first, but once you need more than two hands to count how many times you’ve repurchased a product then something is Really wrong.
I want Sony to win this generation simply because they now deserve it. Even their venture into the realm of motion controls is to enhance our gaming experience. The Sony we know and love is very different than the Sony that was constantly lambasted by the media and gamers alike back in 2006 and 2007.
i <3 how this turned into a “TEH 360 sux!!!” comment section. i sure as HELL will never buy one. (A) i don’t like Micro$oft! (B) i’ve had a PlayStation controller in my hands for over a decade, so the 360 controller feels bulky and the button/stick layout makes little sense to me. and finally (C), as it stands now, there are too many great exclusives coming to the PS3 that i’m not going to have enough time to bother with another console. honestly, i think anyone whose going on their 3rd 360 (or beyond) and is still satisfied with Micro$oft and their lovely Death-Box must be suffering from some kind of mental disorder. but then again i think MOST fan-boys are.
nice guns!

Good things come to those who wait! meaning up PS3 owners. I remember last year asking a question a podcast if we would ever see Ninja Gaiden 2 on PS3 and their response has “I’ll think we’ll see NG2 on PS3 no doubt” and now that its been announced for PS3 I can’t wait. Glad to see its a remake and not just a port of the Xbox 360 version. My brother owned this on Xbox 360 and that version had alot problems and was hard.
