And what this increase in data will mean for the future of (PS3) games.

I’m just impressed by the data that can be hold on those discs and what the future will bring!<br

Actually, do your research........ there not in production for the Playstation 3. taking a guess they will make a slight jump in storage is better than yelling 300GB.
1. Not all will be used.
2. expensive.
Hideo kojima stated that even with 50gb Blue ray disk was not enough for MGS4. maybe he should consult you first.
The logical choice would be mass produce disk that holds more data but not go overboard. Im aware there are disk that can hold 250-300GB .
you read wrong..

Shadowjin I don't see how your prediction will be even possible.

Actually a Blu-Ray on the PS3 can hold up to like 300GB and still be useable… SO… Shadowjin I don’t see how your prediction will be even possible.

By: shadowjin

<guid

Sony will probably upgrade theres to 100GB just to keep 1 step ahead of Microsoft. The content of games will increase if Microsoft adds it. i noticed the 360 is always 1 step behind Sony almost like there waiting for them to make the move. This is why there waiting for the price drop.

i think the next generation of 360 will include Blue-Ray drives, 50Gb is alot even if its not all use.
