After christening their merger with a taunt at Square Enix, TKE (the new acronym for Tecmo Koei Europe) has been officially unveiled.

The development studio’s ultimate focus is to achieve success in the [shal]Western videogame market[/shal], something that the companies previously had difficulty pulling off due to large cultural differences between their employees and the audience that they desired to cater towards. The first game to be released under their new company name is the [shal]PS3 [/shal] title [shal]Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2[/shal], the port/re-imagining of the action-packed 360 title Ninja Gaiden 2.

  1. If Koei wants to get some American fanbases they can start by not making crappy games. Dynasty warrior games can be fun, but… they really need to start only making 1 every 2 or 3 years and just polishing it, not tweaking things and breaking others. Maybe give them some A.I. Of course they’ll probably have to make it PS3 exclusive to make it a great game because let’s face it… there are major pop in and out propblems on the 360 versions I’ve seen that cease to exist on the PS3 versions from what I’ve seen.

Tecmo… haven’t you already infiltrated the U.S. with awesomeness?
