Evan Wells Talks Uncharted 2 Release Date

Evan Wells, of Naughty Dog, has revealed that their latest title, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, will be receiving a release date announcement very soon.

During the live blog for Uncharted 2, Evan Wells announced a very important topic on everyones mind: the release date on Uncharted 2: Among Thieves.

“We still haven’t announced our release date. So for now it’s still ‘Fall’, but I assure you that an official date will be announced very soon.”

    i would like to see it when Naughty Dog is 100% satisfied and deems it a finished product. anything less would be a dis-service to all involved. i have no doubt in my mind that the team at Naughty Dog would agree with me.

    oh yeah. thank you for covering this Dan, as i was not able to participate myself. feel free to grace us with any other gems that were dropped during this live blog event. i am very interested in any new info on Uncharted 2 as it will most definitely be my next game purchase.

    The gamespot pre-order is an exclusive Multiplayer Demo that will last from 8/19 to 9/27, so my best guess would be very early october after the demo concludes to maybe try and take a little of the wind out of Halo:ODST hype.

    i want it in NOVEMBER and it is going to be the best game of 2009.I sugest you put explosions like just cause 2 and uncharted 2 will get 10 OF 10.

    Alsom they will be having another beta as well, keep tuned in at PSLS as I believe this story will be coming shortly.
