New information does not stop for PlayStation Cloud, as the most recent issue of PlayStation World magazine may have revealed the first details.
In the July issue of PlayStation World (PSW), new details on “Cloud”, a system that will first be compatible with Echochrome, are touched upon. After an update, users will be able to upload their custom-built Echochrome levels through “Cloud”, without the need for Sony to check the content.

How would you feel about this system? Could Cloud be a system in which you can submit user-generated content, and view it on the PlayStation Cloud site? Post your comments below.
Update: “Cloud” is part of the latest Echochrome patch (released a few weeks ago), and is seemingly not related to PlayStation Cloud.

“Cloud:
This is a game mode that allows players to upload levels they have created, and also download levels that others have posted. We have added a simple search function to go with it. For example, if you find someone whose works you like, you can search for their levels by ID.”
Doesn’t seem to be the illustrious PS Cloud that everybody’s excited about.
@Crashington this seems like a part of Cloud. I think Cloud is a new way to share media and content. Which is exactly what everyone is excited about. THis would just be a small implimentation.
I think it would be cool if Cloud was sort of like the Halo 3 site, in which you could submit levels, and download others to your system. But instead. Cloud supports a range of different user-generated games.
Echochrome update came out a few weeks ago, includes “Cloud” on the main menu. This is seemingly unrelated to PlayStation Cloud and a poorly-written article on behalf of PlayStation World. Glad PSLS is reporting it – but doesn’t seem well-researched by the magazine.
so far I think it sounds fairly pointless
Oh , you got me all excited, too bad.
Sorry DGR
Hopefully, we’ll be seeing on more information on PlayStation Cloud soon.
