PlayStation 3 bundles, while offering more bang for the buck, are not typically made for everyone. However, it looks like Best Buy has a new enticing bundle tailored for the hardcore gamer looking to delve into the best of the PS3’s gaming library.
Revealed and confirmed by multiple Best Buy employees, a new PS3 bundle is hitting the retailer outlets with two of the greatest PlayStation 3 titles packed in: none-other-than Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots and this year’s Killzone 2.
For gamers that have not crossed over to the PS3, these system-sellers will do just that.

Maybe that is why I can’t find any MGS4 Greatest Hits on the shelves they are all being bundled with newer PS3’s…
This really makes it hard since I already have KZ2 but want to get the Greatest Hits MGS4.

Honestly, if this is $400 everyone who has been waiting to get a PS3 can consider the price drop already here. I’m sure some will still complain though due to their lack of mathematical capabilities. I’ll try and simplify it though: If there is a price drop to $300 and then you have to buy these two games $300 +$30 + $60 = $390. You save $10 if you wait for the supposed price drop. Is another month or two wait really worth $10???

All these bundles are really just delaying the inevitable. Metal Gear Solid 4 sold nearly 5 million copies, but should have sold more, had more PS3s been in people’s homes. If a game like Killzone 2, with more hype than anything in recent history, cannot sell more than it’s current numbers, then nothing short of a price cut will sell PS3s. It needs to happen.

This is sonys answer to microsofts elite halo 3 and fable 2 bundle. Both the ps3 and 360 bundles are m rated games by the way. I guess targets exclusive resistance and motorstorm bundles sold well enough to warrant a better bundle for other retailers. I wonder if it will be availble every where not just bb.

How about a future PS3 Slim bundle? Packaged with both LittleBigPlanet and ModNation Racers. It’ll be called the Play.Create.Share bundle!
