SOCOM 4, Syphon Filter 5 Listed as in Development

If you’ve already read the title, then you may have had the same expression as the picture above. Two franchises from Sony Computer Entertainment, SOCOM and Syphon Filter, will be getting sequels on the PS3, according to the PCB Production Credits page.
The page, in which you can view here, shows that SOCOM 4 and Syphon Filter 5 are currently in development. SOCOM 4 has no developer listed, while Syphon Filter 5 shows the developer as Sony Bend. The listings are shown below:
SOCOM 4 – (motion capture direction) – PLAYSTATION 3 (in development)
SYPHON FILTER 5 – (Facial Mo-cap) – PLAYSTATION3- SONY BEND
As of now, PlayStation LifeStyle will classify this as rumor until official announcement. Until then, stay tuned.

When I read this I said “Holy Crap” and told my friend and my brother XD
I honestly hope Syphon Filter 5 is true, and I’d like to get into Socom(even though there is one out for the PS3, but still)
I wonder if Level 5 will make another Dark Cloud as well, that’d be totally sweet.
SOCOM: Confrontation, for me, is a blast. I’m hoping to see a new one as well.
i loved syphon filter on the PSone, never played the PS2 or PSP games, id love to see what PS3 would do for it, and since its sony bend, who made the first two games the blast they were, than im looking forward to it. As of Socom, id love to see a COD4 like experience in 3rd person on PS3.
I definitely need a new Syphon Filter, but if Zipper isn’t making the next Socom, which I can’t see them doing since they’re currently working on MAG, then I’m not too sure of that prospect.
I remember reading about this months back and they still haven’t confirmed or denied this so I wouldn’t expect to hear anything from Sony any time soon. Maybe next E3? :p
Yeah I heard about the Syphon Filter thing forever ago, it seems like if nothing is EVER said about it from Sony, it’s more than likely going to be true.
Guys iam Sure that Sony announced it at E32007 with the already released Socom for PS3 (PSN-Title/Blu-Ray-Title).

I am just glad Sony Bend is working on a PS3 game…FUCKING EPIC!
Zipper is working on S4, should be a late 2010, early 2011 release.
