Best Buy Announces Uncharted 2 Preorder Program

Bestbuy has just announced their preorder program for Naughty Dog’s upcoming adventure game, Uncharted 2. Available for in-store and online orders, Bestbuy will email out redeemable codes that will grant the player a golden Beretta handgun and an AK-47.
The codes will be distributed “on or near [the] release date”. But it’s important to note that the guns will only be available in multiplayer. No word yet on whether these items are exclusive to Best Buy customers, or if the weapons are still obtainable within Uncharted 2, a la the Ratchet & Clank Future: ACIT preorder packages.

i played the beta… i dont think any fps at the moment comes close to UT3 and KZ2
Beat was awesome. Agree with above comment on KZ2 and FPS. I’d say Uncharted 2 beta is looking to be one of the best 3rd person shooters ever.
KZ2 is a great game… i just think it takes a lot more skill to kill ppl in ut3… i actually get tired of playing KZ2 at times because it can be repetitive
It definitely takes more skill to kill people in UT3. You almost gotta be a psychic to figure out where someone’s going to be a half second ahead since pretty much every weapon is a projectile. I actually found it frustrating more than fun. Damn psychics. =P
Killzone 2′s still my fav.

its funny cause KZ2 and UT3 are among my fav FPses but what does it have to do with this topic, it was pretty random. U2AT isnt an FPS.
Did I miss something? Why is everyone talking about Unreal Tournament and Killzone? Why was FPS brought up at all?

ok first…. like it has been said this isnt a fps so kz2 and ut3 have nothing to do with ths discussion. second i couldnt disagree more that it is easier to get kills in killzone 2 than ut3… ut3 is a joke to me… its probably the easiest fps to play except cod. i think cod is a much much better game than ut3… no frags or melee equals a minus to me. and i cant even play the game anymore… i get rocket launcher professor every time i play. there are like 4 or 5 guns that are one hit kills… its a joke. i guess im the only one who thinks this way… my reflexes must be super fast or something lol
anyway the beta for uncharted was awesome. i really like the tweeks theyve made and the gameplay is pretty fluid except for a few things that will mess you up… like clinging to a wall instead of rolling. so im sure there are lots of ak-47s in the game to pick up but does this mean you start with the gun?
I would prefer a bullwhip, but that’s just me.
