The Man, The Myth, The Legend – Gamesblow
A Google search for Sabian Greenly will find one of Gamesblow’s earliest predictions from his MySpace blog, although it’s copy/pasted into a forum, it clearly states Gamesblow, as well as his name (Sabian Greenly) and links back to his now closed MySpace page.
Gamesblow exposed who he really was just a little over a year ago.
From the post:
“Tekken 6 is being developed for the xbox 360 and a new sku is going to be made available for pre-orders at Gamestop no later than April. You heard this hear 1st, people.”
“Microsoft is set to release a new sku for their xbox elite. This one will house a built in wifi adaptor and host the same 120gb hdd built into it. The sku’s just came into Gamestops computers, so expect to see the new systems any time after or before GDC this year.”
“Sony is going to release a few “so called” greatest Hits games at 30 bucks here at Gamestop. Be expecting this, also around GDC. Resistance, Motorstorm and Heavenly Sword are the 3 games we have in our system right now.”
What is the one thing each one of those predictions have in common? They all pertain to SKU’s being added to Gamestop’s sytem. Or as Gamesblow calls it, “our system”. Surely Gamesblow wouldn’t call GameStop’s system “our” if he wasn’t involved with Gamestop in some way or another.
“Anyways, that’s it for now and for me. Take these or leave them for the time being… just remember where you heard them, folks. Again, I’m not Surfer Girl… I’m not going to toss out vauge ramblings anyone would know if they gamed… I’m not going to make assumptions. I’m giving you hard evidence that is actually Legit.

So how does Gamesblow go from a lowly Gamestop employee to an employee of Sony who reports on all kinds of “insider” news? It’s likely that he doesn’t. Gamesblow could deny this as his true identity, but the ending of the blog post is signed Sabian Greely, the same name as the owner of the Gamestradomas.com domain.
Which is more likely?
Is Gamesblow hard at work in Sony R&D, under a non-disclosure agreement he ignores?
Or is Gamesblow just reading his correct predictions off of a GameStop packing list?

more like gamesblown, the truth is out, and this gamestop employee is gunna get sued.
Sounds like a GameStop employee if you ask me, but I can honestly say I have NEVER heard of this guy until today. Which I guess you could say is strange, considering I follow gaming news and such.
Yeah, I’d say this “sony employee” is confused about who sign[ed] his paychecks. I see a pink sleep, and probably a court order in his future.
i remember him attacking Sev cause Project Trico wasnt even close to what Team Ico was actually making for the PS3, and Sev was just hyping everyone, fooling them with old stuff. One week later, Team Ico shows off The Last Guardian, and my oh my, it was pretty close.

Isn’t this the guy that claims to be a “professional troll”? I remember him constantly posting crap on the PlayStation.Blog and a bunch of other sites.
First off, I have gone back and forth with gamesblow from 1up.com to N4g, over the internet bashing each other using virtual stabs at each other. Was pointless, but as much of a PS3 insider, you claim he was….He was actually a Xbox Fanboy UNTIL he finally bought a PS3. Ironic really. Gotta love consumerism anyways, here’s his dark secret:

If you are extremely bored, look up the history of skaterboy and surfergirl and their supposed video games predictions. Richard Allen, you should do some more research, this guy isn’t worth an article. He was just a game tester, in which probally got paid minimum wage. I am pretty sure he has a new internet alias by now. Nothing to see here lets move on, before he catches wind of this and his E-PEN*S grows 5 inches.

My god, I still remember Surfergirl’s supposed “leak” of Resistance 2 screenshots. I kept staring at them because they were actually early development photos of Resistance 1 from several years prior.
