The EVO Championship Series in Las Vegas is the longest-running fighting game tournament in the world, as well as the largest. Featuring thousands of competitors from across the globe, the tournament features Capcom fighting games both old and new, and it’s been revealed that the newer, multiplatform titles will all be running on Sony’s platform, the PlayStation 3.

Capcom’s Seth Killian, an organizer for EVO, stated:

“PlayStation has been an important part of EVO history, but this year, we’ve selected the PS3 as the platform of choice for our very biggest competitions, including Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix and Street Fighter IV.”
