PS3 Stealing Xbox 360 Exclusive

According to TheSixthAxis, the PlayStation 3 is set to take a popular Xbox 360 exclusive title. Unfortunately, no other information was given on what possibly the title could be.
New information has been promised in about a month’s time, and the contact has said that more exciting news will be coming. Remember not to get your hopes up at this time, as we’ll classify this as a rumor.

Is Star Ocean 4 good? Before the release on X360, I really wanted it to be on PS3 as well.
But now I don’t know whether it is actually good or not.
I hope it’s the two Mass Effect’s packed together. One can hope

Bioware said that they wanted to bring Mass Effect to the PS3 but they wouldnt have had the tools long enough before the targeted release. So it could be Mass Erect.
I’ve just read somewhere else that Plants vs Zombies could head to other platforms… I hope this will not be the exclusive we are talking about, it should sound like a joke.

If the game in question is not the Mass Effect series, I do not care.
Gears would be sweet, but not gonna happen. i think MS executives would pee in the pants if they lost Halo or Gears
I’m sorry, but this TSA article is terrible. I actually read their site, and I know we have been accused of hit-mongering in the past. But this is really stretching it. Unless a 360 exclusive is becoming a PS3 exclusive, then this is not a big deal. If something is going multiplat, it happens all the time. Hopefully there will be something interesting about it from TSA in the future, but I’m just not interested at this point.
Well let’s just hope it’s something worth playing, I’m guessing it’s going to be Mass Effect

You know, TSA said that the game would be released this year (Mass Effect 2 will be released early 2010), and that was “popular”. So my guess would be that the title has already been released in the X360. It can’t be Halo nor Geares of War cause they are owned by Microsoft. I think it will be either L4D (1 or 2) or Dead Rising 1.

It will probably move an exclusive to multiplatform. I have said and keep saying that because of this generations hardware specs are so close it makes sense for many developers to move to multiplatform, but they should use the PS3 as the primary tool since it is the more complicated of this generation to program for until you get used to its technology.
I’m surprised no one thought of this yet: Splinter Cell Conviction. It’s a well known and pretty popular series and it comes out in October, and its an Xbox exclusive as of now…Splinter Cell is my bet for this one…
TSA’s reputation is all on the line if the game they will “reveal” isn’t big or important.
I want Gears of War 1 and 2, or all of the JRPGs that had been released exclusively for 360
please not HALO or Gears or Left 4 Dead, give us something good.
Microsoft owns Halo and the developer I’m quite sure, it will never be Halo.

Actually when I thought about it, I started to think more along the scale of Star Ocean or something. But Halo is never happening, Microsoft owns Bungie. Just like Alan Wake is no longer happening for the PS3 cause they bought the company out.

It can’t be any RARE games, as RARE is owned by Microsoft. Um … Halo or Gears of War is not an option either. Halo especially.
I still really hope for Mass Effect. It would suck if it was only some Xbox Live Arcade game, such as Braid, as much as I loved that game.

I’m guessing Mass Effect since it’s under EA now.
I forgot to mention above that TSA is a EU game site and so what it says is related to EU gaming and not necessarily to the US, there is a difference. Just look at Japanese games vs the world. We would like more JRPG’s but they have been slow in getting here. So what TSA says may be only related to a title slated to release in EU first and maybe the rest of the world.
Its not going to be any microsoft game studio published game like gears or fable most likely its from a multi platform developer like ea. Mass effect and left 4 dead are very good candidates
